Where nature is silent, except for the breeze that comes from the river and the sounds of the habitat. The whole property runs on solar power
No Air conditioning except nature and an ordinary pedestal fan. But you might still need a light blanket to cover your body during night. Nature is cool inside the room also.

ABOUT US

We found that sometimes, you need to cool your head staying in a calm village atmosphere, with no television or automobiles or other hustle or buzzle to irritate. Just gaze on the flowing river, enjoy an occasional fishing, and relax in the shade of a coconut grove. Riverside caravan is the perfect place for an isolated cooling retreat.

We have two double seater rooms, riverside view and paddy view. There is also a dormitory sleeper hall in the first floor, to be used only for those who book one or both of the lower rooms. There is no toilet facility in the upper hall and campers have to use the lower room toilets.

River Side

This room gives a view to the river and gets the breeze always. Equipped with a lockable wardrobe with a dressing mirror, pedestal fan and a small movable table cum utility stand. There is also an attached bathroom. There is always plenty of light, but direct sunlight is filtered through the palm shade. Usually naturally air-conditioned with the refreshing cool breeze.

Paddy View

This room is always sunny and faces the road. Beyond the immediate view are long rows of paddy fields. The breeze from the unpolluted crop lands in the early morning with dewdrops dripping from the leaf blades is most refreshing. A walk in the early morning would invigourate you for the whole day. In the afternoon, if you keep the door open, you don’t need a sunbath in the beach, but the sun peeps into your room.

Roof Top Dorm Hall

This is the ideal place for campers. You can bring your own quilt blankets or simple sheets and relax on the floor. Those who would like to rummy or other indoor engagements have all the place for themselves. There is a window to the riverside also, that will refresh your thoughts for penning down your creative talent.

Bath Amenities

A River to bath during all seasons. This is a tranquil river and the water level goes up during the high tide and recedes during the low tide. During rains, when the seawater comes in, the water is saltish, but during summer, the salt is gone.

A canoe to row in the river. The service, however is paid. If you so wish, a fishing trip with cast net or angling can also be arranged.
